What to Expect

Aid
Stations

This is an icon of a glass of water to represent aid stations. At all of The Florida Run trail events, athletes can expect aid stations to provide them with water or Gatorade for refreshments during and after the trail run.
This is an icon of a family to represent family friendliness. Be assured that the trail runs hosted by The Florida Run are family friendly. We make sure that everyone is safe and has fun at our trail running events.

Restrooms

This is an icon of a fork and knife crossed over each other in an “x” formation to represent post race food. After a grueling run/walk, athletes appreciate refreshments and food. We provide those for the athletes at all of our trail runs.

Race Food

This is an icon of a bathroom sign to represent on-course restroom. Having access to restrooms are pretty important, especially at a trail running event. There are restrooms on-course as well as the start/finish line for all of our trail running even

Chip
Timed

This is an icon of a t-shirt to represent race swag. Athletes can expect to receive event swag when they register for our trail runs.

Swag

This is an icon of a computer chip to represent chip timed technology. Chip timed races help ensure accurate race times. Once you cross the start/finish line, your time will start/stop.

Awards
Ceremony

This is an icon of a race medal to represent medallions. All participants at our trail running events will receive a medallion after completing their distance. Whether you run/walk a 5k | 10k or Half-Marathon, you will get a medal!

Medals

This is an icon of a podium to represent award ceremony. At the end of each trail run, we announce winners and publicly present them with awards for winning in their category.

Sightings

We're incredibly thrilled to host the second trail race event at the picturesque Manatee Springs State Park. As always, we will feature the same distances that you all have come to know and love: our 5K, 10K, and half-marathon. This event takes place in an intimate setting, surrounded by towering cypress trees and the breathtaking sight of crystal clear spring water. Participants will have a opportunity to spot manatees enjoying their natural habitat, making this a truly memorable experience. Join us for the 2026 trail race and immerse yourself in the inspiration and beauty of the stunning Florida landscape as you run!

Parking fees go directly to Manatee Springs State Park. Parking passes are single day use only and must be purchased online morning of the race.

Course Details

Aid stations will be approximately every 2 miles. Some will be self serve and some will have volunteers. On-course restrooms will be at mile .5 and 6.5 of the Half Marathon and mile .5 and 5.75 of the 10K. Keep our State Parks clean. Dispose of all trash in the trash cans.
